Malena Nygaard

Malena A. Nygaard, BS, is doctoral student in the School Psychology program at Indiana University Bloomington. She is a graduate assistant for a U.S. Department of Education grant examining the impact of trauma-informed multi-tiered systems of supports on student academic, behavioral, and socioemotional outcomes. She is also a certified teacher in the state of Texas. Her research focuses on suicide prevention, trauma-informed multi-tiered systems of support in schools, social justice in the field of school psychology, and transition services for youth with disabilities.
