Melissa Mueller

Graduate Student, Werklund School of Education, University of Calgary

Melissa is a second year PhD student in the School and Applied Child Psychology program in the Werklund School of Education at the University of Calgary. Her research focuses on examining the impacts of screen time on child development outcomes and the role parents play in this relationship. Melissa encourages clinicians to talk to parents about screen time by focusing on increasing beneficial activities (e.g., reading) instead of a sole focus of setting hard screen time limits.
