Narmene completed her PhD in School Psychology from Syracuse University. She is currently collaborating on an IES-funded grant project to improve the relationship between general education teachers and students with autism. She is actively pursuing a program of research related to educational equity with a focus on academic assessment and interventions related to writing performance.
