Factors Related to Interprofessional Decision-Making With Psychologists: A Scoping Review



This session equips school psychologists with insights on becoming more effective team members, drawing from a comprehensive scoping review that mapped factors influencing interprofessional team decision-making.

  • identify factors related to interprofessional team decision-making at the individual, interpersonal, and organizational levels to enhance their effectiveness within teams;
  • describe understudied factors in team decision-making with psychologists, providing direction for future research projects; and
  • explain the alignment between individual, interpersonal, and organizational factors related to team decision-making and relevant domains of the NASP Practice Model (e.g., Consultation and Collaboration and Legal, Ethical, and Professional Practice).
