This presentation examines how parents in the United States, Kosovo, and Turkey differ in their academic expectations, confidence in assisting their children, and home-learning practices across reading, math, writing, and related arts.

- gain a better understanding about how the relationship between parents’ confidence and their children’s subsequent engagement in related activities varies across the United States, Kosovo, and Turkey. Such information will help provide a more global understanding of how parents’ beliefs and practices vary worldwide; and
