Mentorship promotes successful outcomes for Black girls, yet there is little research examining formal mentorship programs designed for their unique experiences. This presentation takes a deeper dive into the issue.

Research has demonstrated more anti-LGBTQ+ bias and discrimination in rural school settings compared to urban schools. The proposed narratology study seeks to retell the schooling experiences of rural, LGBTQ+ youth.
